Privacy Policy

This Policy explains what Live Boards collects, why it is used, when it is shared, and the choices available to you across the website, member portal, TV displays, and applications.

1. Information we collect

Account information

Name, email address, encrypted password credentials, account role, invitation use, verification status, membership, trial status, policy acceptance, and login activity.

Screen and device information

Linked-screen names, pairing identifiers, device identifiers, selected layouts, favorite teams, display settings, connection status, IP-derived technical information, browser or app type, timestamps, and diagnostic events.

Feature information

Trivia sessions, player display names, answers and scores; custom-game settings and scores; fantasy and player-tracking selections; song requests and queues; uploaded or linked media; trigger rules; and other settings you choose to save.

Connected-service information

When you connect a provider, Live Boards may receive provider account identifiers, authorization and refresh tokens, device metadata, selected devices, fantasy data, sports information, or music-library information. OAuth provider passwords are entered with the provider and are not requested or stored by Live Boards.

Payment and support information

Payment processors or app stores may provide subscription status, transaction identifiers, plan, renewal, cancellation, and limited billing information. Live Boards does not need to store complete payment-card numbers. We collect messages and attachments you send for support.

2. How we use information

• Create, verify, secure, and support accounts.
• Pair devices and synchronize screens, controllers, games, queues, and settings.
• Personalize sports displays and operate selected integrations and triggers.
• Administer memberships, trials, payments, limits, and upgrades.
• Detect fraud, abuse, outages, and security incidents.
• Measure reliability and improve Live Boards.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce agreements.

3. When information is shared

We may share only the information reasonably necessary with hosting, database, email, payment, analytics, support, sports-data, fantasy, music, video, and connected-device providers that help operate requested features. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, during a business transaction, or with your direction. Third-party services process information under their own terms. Live Boards does not sell personal information.

4. Advertising

If an ad-supported plan is offered, this Policy will be updated before personalized advertising or advertising identifiers are introduced. Live Boards will provide any consent or opt-out controls required by applicable law and platform policy.

5. Data retention

Account and configuration information is generally retained while your account is active. Short-lived pairing, verification, password-reset, feed-cache, and session data expires or is replaced as the service operates. After deletion, limited transaction, security, fraud-prevention, dispute, backup, or legal records may remain for only as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes.

6. Your choices and rights

You may update settings, disconnect providers, remove linked screens, or delete your account from Profile. A public deletion method is also available at liveboards.io/account-deletion. You may contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of account information. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to restrict or object to processing, appeal a decision, or withdraw consent.

7. Security

Live Boards uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including encrypted password hashing, protected sessions, and encrypted storage for supported provider tokens. No system can guarantee absolute security. Protect your password and report suspected unauthorized activity.

8. Children

Live Boards is not directed to children under 13, and children under 13 may not create accounts. Trivia participants may enter a temporary display name without creating an account; the account holder or venue is responsible for appropriate supervision. If you believe a child provided personal information improperly, contact us so it can be reviewed and deleted.

9. International processing

Information may be processed where Live Boards and its providers operate. Where required, appropriate safeguards will be used for cross-border transfers.

10. Policy changes

We may update this Policy as features, providers, or legal requirements change. We will update the effective date and may provide additional notice or request renewed acknowledgment for material changes.
